What does this mean?

This is a very homely relaxed house. As a guest, you can use my small kitchen although, space is very tight. Your room is small and warm, with a double bed, a chest of drawers and it is next to the bathroom. There is also a loo downstairs, so we would never disturb you. We use the bathroom when you are out. there is a small back garden, if you wish to sit outside.

Guest Parking

If you require parking, it is first come first serve in my road . More often than not , one can get a space. It costs £6 per 24 hrs and I have to book you as a guest so I would need your registration before you arrive. Parking is not guaranteed , although, I have not had anyone before who could not get a space.

The Area and Transport

Small family home with myself and my daughter living here. We are 4 mins walk to the Marlow and located in the heart of Canterbury city centre. We are 7 mins walk from Canterbury west and Canterbury east train stations. You can park on my road , although it costs £6 per 24 hrs and spaces are limited. There are many cafes and restaurants within 4 mins walk .

Incredible location and the bed was very comfy!! I felt so at home and I loved staying. The en-suite was a big bonus and walking 3 mins to work was the best!!! Would definitely stay again.

I was in a very tricky position as my digs were unfit to live in for the week. Rebecca responded to me very quickly and was a safe haven that I needed that week. The house is colourful and full of life. You really couldn't get closer to the theatre - and the lovely parks, rivers and wild life close by also make her home to special. Highly recommend

Was very a very relaxing stay with lovely welcoming hosts. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay a stones throw away from the theatre.

Fantastic location a stones-throw from the theatre. Rebecca and her family made me feel very welcome: great hosts! Worth noting that the main bathroom for the house connects to the room, but the arrangement worked out well. Would happily stay again if back in Canterbury

Becky has a lovely house and she was the most welcoming. We haven’t really seen each other as we worked opposite hours but she was helpful and responsive over text. The house is also a 5 min walk into the Marlowe.

A lovely and calm place with a conveniently short walking distance to the theatre! Great and very welcoming host. Discussed the integrated/adjacent bathroom situation and access to it beforehand, everything worked out well.
