Welcoming home in a leafy Sheffield neighbourhood with two guest bedrooms available – one double and one twin bed – ideal for theatre professionals needing comfort and flexibility. Guests have full use of the kitchen, living areas, and garden, and enjoy a peaceful setting close to cafés, shops, and parks. Despite the quiet surroundings, it’s only a 20-minute bus ride, virtually door to door, to the Crucible and Lyceum Theatres, with the Lantern Theatre also easy to reach. The University campus and lively Ecclesall Road are within walking distance for restaurants, coffee, and culture. The peaks also near. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, perfect for rest after late shows or rehearsals, and we’re happy to accommodate flexible arrival times and schedules. With excellent transport links, Sheffield station nearby, and a calm, friendly home environment, this is a supportive base for anyone working in the city’s vibrant arts scene. The Area and Transport
Our home is in a green and leafy part of Sheffield, close to Endcliffe Park and the Botanical Gardens, offering a peaceful setting with plenty of local cafés and shops nearby. Despite the quiet surroundings, we are well connected to the city. The house is just a short walk to bus stops with frequent services into the city centre, and it’s only about 20 minutes by bus to the Crucible Theatre and the Lyceum Theatre – virtually door to door. The Lantern Theatre, one of Sheffield’s oldest small theatres, is also easy to reach by bus or a pleasant walk. The University of Sheffield campus and the popular Ecclesall Road area are within walking distance, making it easy to explore both cultural and social spots. Sheffield railway station is around 15 minutes away by bus, providing excellent onward connections. Whether you are performing, rehearsing, or attending shows, our location combines calm surroundings with quick, straightforward access to the heart of Sheffield’s theatre scene.

Both bedrooms have a lockable door from the inside. There is a shower room, a bathroom and toilet that guests can use. Guests have use of any of two living rooms, a big kitchen/ dining area, and use of the 1 acre grounds the house is set in. We have gym equipment in the garage if guests wish to use it. The house is a victorian town house on 4 floors.
Excluded Facilities
The downstairs shower room is not available for guests.
