Living with Host
Lovely room in quiet Hanover. Away from the hustle and bustle providing a good night’s sleep. I have a bath and also a shower. I provide a bath towel, flannel and bath mat. You are welcome to use the microwave, oven, washing machine, fridge as well as dishwasher… Fire extinguisher upstairs as well as downstairs. Carbon Monoxide detectors also upstairs and downstairs, as well as smoke alarms. Up-to-date Gas safety Check as well as PIKL insurance for each guest for the days they are booked in to stay. Will be printed out and in your bedroom for peace of mind...
All windows are double glazed.

£5 permits available for all day parking.
The Area and Transport
The no 20 bus is under the entrance of Trafalgar Street and right on Frederick Street, alongside the Prince Albert Pub. It takes you directly to my house. Get off at Egremont Gate. Tap in. Tap off. Costs £3. If you drive I have parking permits at £5 each. Brighton has a policy if paying every day of the week, except Christmas Day. If you walk to and from the station, it takes under 15 minutes. I had a wonderful stay at Clare's home, she is incredibly welcoming. The room is comfortable and cool and I had a lovely 25 minute walk to Brighton Centre each day. I would definitely stay with Clare again!

Clare was welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond. Her home is lovely, comfortable and relaxing. The bedding and pillows dreamy. Clare kindly lent me a bin for a stage prop and allowed me to leave my luggage over night & book an extra night last minute due to a change of plan.
Clare has some beautiful house plants in the bathroom which are well cared for and the street is quiet but close to town with an excellent hill to climb. Thanks so much Clare xxx Great value!

Had a lovely week staying here, Clare was very friendly and the room is great. The walk from the theatre back to the house has a short steep section, but it wasn't far at all. I had a busy week so wasn't in much but can definitely recommend!

Clare was bloody lovely and very welcoming, and went above and beyond for me during my stay, being very kind when I had to leave unexpectedly. The room was cosy and tidy, and the only minor downside was the hill to get back from the town centre, but it is Brighton. Very much would recommend

Loved staying here with Clare. She was super accommodating and friendly. A quick15 min walk to Theatre Royal all downhill. Would 100% stay here again if I visit Brighton.

I had a wonderful stay in clare’s home. She was so kind and the house so pretty. It was really near the sea and I swam every day! The house was spotless and comfortable, so tasteful and full of her lovely artwork. A really perfect place to stay in Brighton! Thank you Clare

A wonderful home , lovely cosy room that was perfect for long days at theatre to come back to. Clare was accommodating and very helpful during my 2 weeks stay. Highly recommend 10 min walk from beach and 15 mins from theatre.👍🏽

Lovely room, an uphill walk back from the theatre, but it was fine. Parked my car by the park, and just had to remember to put a new parking permit on every night on my way back to the digs. Clare was extremely helpful and friendly.

Thank you Hilda. Yes, the hill is a bit of an uphill journey, but away from the hustle & bustle of Brighton at night. The No 18 takes you dircetly to Queens Park for next time... Hope to see you again...
Clare was such a lovely host and so kind and friendly, really made me feel at home.
The bedroom was super cosy, and the house was well within walking distance to the theatre. Would definitely stop again if I was back in Brighton!

Absolutely perfect digs. Lovely, vibrant, colourful house. Great size room with comfy bed. Nice 10/15 minute walk to centre of town/theatre. Clare is such a delightful & helpful host, even sorted car parking permits for my whole week prior to arrival
