Living with Host, Self-Contained

What does this mean?

Self contained, private and quiet room with king sized bed, ensuite facilities and blackout blinds. It's at the top of the house in a modern and comfortable Victorian terrace property.

The room is let as a bedsit/studio so that you have your own space in the house. As well as the facilities listed, there is a sofa, TV, table and chair, small fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery and a few essential kitchen items that can be used in the microwave/cooker. You have no access to the household kitchen. You can use the washing machine once a week.

Any cancellations prior to arrival must be made three days in advance. If not the deposit will be retained. Any cancellation made once the booking has commenced must give three days notice.

Guest Parking

There is free parking outside the house.

The Area and Transport

The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood with great facilities within walking distance: restaurants, cinema, supermarkets (Waitrose and Coop), cafes, pubs, laundrette, local shops and banks. There is free street parking outside the property.

We also live very close to a huge open space called The Downs.

The #2 & #Y6 bus stop into town is a 5min walk away. There is another bus stop about a 7min walk away on the A4018 next to The Downs where you can catch the #1, #2, #3, #Y6 into town and where the Bristol-London-Bristol 040 National Express stops. There are regular buses day and evening. We're a 35-45min walk into the centre of Bristol.

The shared facilities are the main entrance, entrance hallway and stairwell. You have access to the household washing machine once a week.

Excluded Facilities

The room is let as a self contained studio room with kitchenette facilities. There is no access to the rest of the house facilities including kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces except for the washing machine once a week.

Mitch’s annex room was great. Has everything you need and Mitch is so lovely! A very nice space to myself, would definitely recommend for people looking for a private space in a lovely welcoming home.

Mitch was an amazing and generous host, and the room was lovely. A great place to spend a month away from home while working on a busy job. I would recommend Mitch as a host to anyone wanting to stay in Bristol.
