Cosy Self Contained Terrace House in Golcar Huddersfield. (Huddersfield )

This self contained cosy terraced house is part of our house, we live next door, there is an adjoining door in the kitchen which is always locked when guests are in residence, we guarantee that your privacy is respected at all times.
Peter and myself Carole, are always on hand to help out give advice etc if required.

There are two bedrooms, one double, one single, one shower room with a wonderful waterfall shower, a toilet and washbasin within this bathroom, and also a separate toilet and washbasin on the upstairs landing.
The house is on three levels therefore please note that there are two staircases within the house which maybe a consideration for guests with mobility issues,

The fully fitted kitchen with a superb Belling range cooker is in the basement, with French doors leading onto a small south facing patio garden.

The Huddersfield Narrow Canal is a 10 minute walk from the house and it is possible to walk or cycle all the way to the town centre along the tow path in one direction and also along The Colne Valley to explore the local area in the other direction towards the villages of Slaithwaite and Marsden.
The house is 3 miles from Huddersfield town centre approximately 15 mins by car, and there is also a regular bus service from the bus stop in our road to the town centre.
There is also local taxi service.

The village of Golcar is just a short walk up the road with a Co-op, Post Office, chemist and a cafe, Curry house and local pubs.

We do not tolerate parties/ excessive noise of any kind as the house is mid terrace and we wouldn’t want to upset the neighbours as we live in a quiet friendly neighbourhood.
