Living with Host

Cosy house, in a brilliant location, just yards from Ilford Road Metro Station (8 minute ride into town), or 20 minute walk. Local shops, and lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. Smoking in the garden. If your booking starts on a Sunday please arrive after 6pm.

TV in room. Loft rooms share one bathroom/loo, middle floor rooms share another bathroom with loo, plus additional separate toilet. No trainers or rubber soles shoes please as they “eat” carpets and mark wooden floors (it’s true!😝)

A lovely house;like a boutique hotel. Enjoyed coming home to the soft music, low level light and lovely scent of lilies in the hall. All the other lovely touches after a hard day really lifted my spirits. A great host going out of her way to help.

Brilliant digs and a really lovely host!

I really enjoyed my stay and didn't want to leave. On street parking and really easy/quick metro trip into town. Lovely warm and comfy room and probably one of the best digs I have stayed in.

I honestly can't recommend highly enough!

Really good Digs for anyone coming to Newcastle area. Dawn is a great host, and her home and all the rooms are lovely.

The Metro is quick and easy to get into town or it's a lovely 20min walk on a dry day.

Would highly recommend booking digs with Dawn.

Great location, great house, great host!

You can walk to work, but if you can't be bothered, the Metro is literally on the doorstep, and it's only a 10 minute journey into the city centre.

The house itself is beautiful, and Dawn is absolutely lovely - the first night I was there, she gave me a ... read more tour of the area and then a couple of glasses of wine when we got back to the house!

Would definitely recommend and stay again if I was ever in Newcastle.

Probably the best digs I have stayed at. The house is beautifully decorated and the rooms are cosy and quiet.

Ilford Road Metro Station is literally on the doorstep and the theatre is in front of you when you get off at Monument station, three stops, £10 for a weekly ticket. It's about a 25 minut... read more e walk into town.
