Thank you for looking at my digs . It's a warm , welcoming and cosy Victorian terraced home to offer rooms in . The house was completely renovated in 2004 and then redecorated and a new shower installed in 2023.
***IMPORTANT *** - Before you choose my digs , I just want to make it REALLY clear that I offer an ordinary terraced home which I have loved and cared for . IT IS NOT an immaculate Air B and B or hotel and my prices absolutely reflect this .
It is a traditional digs home . A safe space to sleep . Comfortable beds . Clean bed linen . Clean bathrooms and kitchen , a bit of space in the fridge and cupboard and a good dining area for eating and relaxing on a sofa . You are so welcome here .

I choose to offer my home up for Theatre professionals only , who I know have limited funds while touring . I don't want to over- charge.

My home looks like a home and sometimes any home has glitches . It's not a hotel with a management backup team ( I wish!!)
I'm a semi retired Midwife and Nurse blessed with wonderful Theatre professional adult children, who have given me the gift of discovering the joy ( mostly !) of being a Theatre digs host since 2010 .

I have a valid DBS . It's a safe comfortable house with smoke alarms and fully serviced boiler .

You can find us 1.5 miles (A flat walk- important for Bath!) from the theatre in a quiet location .
We are just off the cycle path to the city centre and the A4 to Bristol , electric scooters to hire are 4 mins walk away as are buses which are frequent ( for Bath!) and run all night. So you have a choice of transport links to work.

Bath Spa facilitators have also found the position really handy.

Two lovely rooms are available.

The bathroom is your own if there is just one booking from the show , or will be shared between yourselves if both rooms are booked .

There is also a separate toilet and basin on the ground floor if needed .

The kitchen is yours to use , if you are self catering. . (The local delis , pub and bakery plus independent cafes make this a challenge !).

In good weather do use the little back garden .

I keep just the front lounge for my own use.

We are supporters of the theatre industry as my daughter is an actor, my son an actor musician. We hope to offer you a relaxing base with the privacy you require. Make yourself at home.

Smokers are asked to please smoke outside.

N.B GUESTS - from the cast / friends /partners / family are welcome but PLEASE let me know who they are and when they are staying beforehand for my peace of mind ,the safety of everyone else in the house and in the unlikely event of a fire . ( can't help my Nursing health and safety!)
