Large, bright double room with own washbasin. (Manchester)

House is an end-terrace, brilliantly situated in the "Village" end of Levenshulme, just behind the Antiques village and right by all the newest bars and cafes, including the recently opened cycle cafe. Lots of choice for eating and drinking, including excellent veggie and vegan. Popular Saturday market, also lots of great food and drinks there. By the Fallowfield Loop (the "Floop", for cycling or walking; a lovely ten minute walk along it brings you to Highfield Country Park). 2 minute walk to the bus stop for the 192 bus (lots of them and they also run late at night), or about 6-7 minute walk to the train station - for Manchester city centre or Stockport. Free on-road parking - although it has got busier, I'm on the corner of a junction so you never have to park too far away from the house.

The room is spacious, newly decorated, with plenty of light and a new double bed. There is a washbasin and a kettle, a chair, folding table, clothes rail and drawer space. Shelves with space for your own stuff - laptop etc, and an extension cable. Spare bedding and towels provided. Rest of facilities are shared with host - upstairs bathroom (situated next door to bedroom), downstairs toilet and utility room, kitchen, living room/TV, use of piano in front room when host not working in there, use of garden, smoking fine outside.

If you want an occasional guest to stay with you, also fine, with discretionary small additional charge. If you would like to bring your dog, please ask and I will ask for further details. And if there's anything I've forgotten to mention here or that you'd like to know, again, please just ask!
