Huge music room with double sofa bed (Ipswich)

We have our beautiful music room / living room on offer for short-term stays whilst you are working away from home. The ground floor apartment is of Georgian origins with high ceilings and original period features. One full bathroom and also use of a separate toilet and sink in the utility room as well as a full kitchen and white goods offering.

Hana and I are both professionals working most of the day and trying to maximise our time together in the evenings. You will have access to the entire apartment apart from our bedroom. The music room does only have a sofa bed in but it is almost brand new with a comfy mattress topper on and full bedding provided. The bed can remain out for the entirety of your stay unless otherwise agreed. Your room has its own TV, sitting area, library, desk and even a piano if you fancy tickling the ivories now and again.

It is a green household, so we do try to reduce our footprint including limiting the heating, recycling etc but this can all be discussed upon application. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the New Wolsey theatre which is incredibly handy if that is where your residency is. We are both big fans of the arts, love and play music and enjoy discussion over a glass of wine.

We have a little rescue cat called Bodhi who is quite scared of newcomers but once she gets used to you she'll never leave you alone. She is quite fluffy so if you do have cat allergies, this is not the place for you.

Free parking is available upon request and can run you through how that works but with the theatre being so close there won't be much need for it. We are very close to the town centre which is useful but it is surprisingly quiet in the evenings except sometimes of a Saturday.
