Living with Host

This quiet modern family house sits in a cul de sac on the edge of town. There are two bedrooms available at this property, one twin and one single. The twin can also be configured as a superking on request.

All beds have confortable mattresses and synthetic duvets in various tog ratings to keep guests comfy right round the calendar, additional blankets/layers are available on request.

Bathroom (shared between the two guest rooms) has a shower over the bath, W.c. & basin. When weather permits the garden is a great place for learning lines. There is a TV with Freeview in the larger bedroom, and a smart TV for the single. Each room has wardrobe space.

Dog lovers preferred as the on-site owner regularly looks after the family Boxer.

For guests staying one or two nights only breakfast can be provided (by prior arrangement) at a cost of £5 per person, 48 hrs notice required. Washing machine available by prior request, £5 per load.

New for 2024, electric vehicle charging point available - charging costs available on request.

The Area and Transport

Property is just under 2 miles from Newark's Palace Theatre. It’s about a 40 min downhill walk or a short bus ride in but the return is uphill and regular buses don’t operate after 6 pm though there is a new on demand bus service at night that might be useful. Bring a bike?

House is run on solar energy wherever possible so please confine use of washing machine to daylight hours. One free wash load per week for stays of more than one week, for shorter bookings each load will be charged at £5 and must be prebooked prior to arrival.

Recycling guide available, please wash all used plastics etc before placing in bins.

Please switch on bathroom light when using shower to enable bathroom extractor fan.

No hot food in bedrooms. No restriction on late night cooking.

Bedding and towels changed weekly.
