Performer-friendly Winchester home with 2 large comfortable double rooms (Winchester)

With two double bedrooms and parking, our detached 4-bed family home is situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac about a 10 minute drive (15 mins bus, 40 min walk) from Winchester City centre. Southampton Mayflower Theatre is a 25 min drive, bus and train 50 mins - dependent on traffic. There is a large local supermarket (with a Starbucks) and a bus stop 2 minutes’ walk away. During peak times the No. 5 bus leaves for Winchester via the train station every 15mins. Use live updates on the app (£2 per journey Aug 23) city, £18 weekly pass). In central Winchester parking can be pricey - please refer to our car park information on arrival. We can email this to you if required.

Choose from 2 cosy, attractive and comfortable double rooms (stage left = blue bedding photo, stage right = tulip bedding photo) with TV, Wi-Fi and a small blue tooth speaker, a rarely shared bathroom with shower/bath using softened water, use of the washing machine, inclusive bills and free parking. On our landing is a small desk area which we are happy for you to use. A light help-yourself breakfast and unlimited tea and coffee are included in the price. You can use the kitchen for food preparation when available- just leave it as you would like it to be found. We have a piano, and a garden and conservatory to sit in - just ask. Other areas of the house are private.

Winchester is steeped in history, it has a beautiful cathedral and a 'castle' where King Arthur's round table is situated. It also has a state of the art new leisure centre with a 50m swimming pool, a large library plus a small cinema and a beautiful old theatre. You can quickly find yourself in picturesque countryside from our house or the city centre. Other guests have driven/walked to the river for a cold water swim! Winchester has lots of cafes bars pubs and good restaurants including The Ivy, Blanc's Brasserie, The Giggling Squid, Rick Stein, and Cote to name a few. One of our favourite pubs is the Queen in Kingsgate.

We own a Miniature Schnauzer dog called Rosie, who has hypoallergenic non-moulting fur which means you won't get covered in fur and you are less likely to be allergic to her. She is small, quiet and friendly and loves a tummy rub.

We really look forward to welcoming you to our home along with Rosie, who will also greet you with enthusiasm on your arrival! We would be happy to discuss anything else you might need or want to know.
