Two double rooms in characterful terraced house near theatres.

No smokers please.

You are welcome to use the kitchen to make tea or coffee but no major cooking please ! There are several good cafes within a couple of minutes walk.

Please check out by 10.00 am on the day you leave, to give me time to clean and prepare the room for the next guest (who might be arriving later that day)

I can no longer supply parking permits I'm afraid.

The shower room is in the basement. I often rent out my basement room through Air BnB and, if this is the case during your stay, the shower room will not be available. I do, however, have a bath in the bathroom upstairs and have just bought a shower attachment so as to be able to wash hair in the bath.

The house is in vibrant, fun Jericho, ten to fifteen minutes walk max from the Oxford Playhouse and the New Theatre. I am also about the same distance walk from the train station and a bit less from the bus station.

All the cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants of Jericho are within a couple of minutes walk. There are also a Londis, a Co-op, a sub-post office, a good independent cinema etc.

The house is a small victorian former porter's cottage for St John's College, in a little terrace of six.

The house is less than five minutes walk from the Oxford canal, beautiful Port Meadow and the River Thames - lovely walking, jogging or, in the summer, swimming.

I spent a very comfortable and relaxed 2 weeks here. The sunny balcony is a real treat looking out onto the garden and the bathroom (with a bath not a shower) is right next to the room. There is a shower available much of the time in another part of the house.

Anne is really easy going about eve... read more rything and the area is great, quiet but with delicious cafes.
