A comfortable single room in a garden flat in one of Edinburgh's most beautiful streets.
The room is bright and warm, with a super comfortable antique brass bed. You are welcome to use the kitchen for tea/coffee and breakfast. Cooking facilities can be used by arrangement, as the main room is a shared kitchen/living room.
The main room opens into the back garden, a very peaceful green oasis.
This is an ideal location, particularly for the Edinburgh Playhouse, in a safe residential area near lively Broughton Street, which has a fabulous choice of restaurants, coffee houses, bars and independent shops.
The Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh and the Water of Leith walkway are nearby.
You will be within 15 mins walk downhill from Waverley Station and 10 minutes walk downhill from the airport tram terminus in York Place - 5 minutes drive from the city centre.
All the city's main theatres are easily accessible on foot or public transport.
There is a bus stop at the end of my road with a frequent service to the city centre, the Festival Theatre and the Lyceum. You will be close to bus routes covering all areas of the city.
There are 11 steps down to the basement area, with a 90 degree turn.
Please note the single bed measures 190 cms by 80 cms, so do make sure that it is a suitable fit for you.
