Loft Conversion At Oak Road (Salford)
It’s ‘Living With Landlord’ but it's a “theatre" house as I’m a stage manager and my girlfriend works for the Arts Council, so we know what people are looking for when it comes to digs.
The house is 2miles from Manchester city centre, but a bus will have you to the centre in 15mins or its a 40min walk or to the Lowry its 3miles and takes about 35mins on bus, or both are easy drives if you have a car, and there is plenty of free on street parking outside the house. I’ll agree I’m not the closest to the theatres, but you get a lot more room for a lot lower price if you’re happy to travel a little.
The room is an attic conversion with ensuite bathroom so feels very private, has a double bed, plenty of space with wardrobes & drawers, a desk and a couch plus a TV with Amazon Fire. There is also a private balcony.
